I am a graduate! Woot Woot!

After three years of reading, discussing, analyzing, presenting, commenting, more reading and, to mention a few, Herman Melville, John Milton and Shakespeare later, I am pleased to announce that I am now a graduate in English. I am so happy I would wear it on a shirt.
There were times I thought I wouldn't make it. And look at me smarty pants! I made it! I could go on and tell you a few anecdotes but I won't. You wouldn't understand (or maybe you would but I can't be bothered right now).

So yeah. I am ready to go. I want to be a teacher. Of French. I hear you. I studied English.
I can only work as a substitute teacher in Canada because I don't have a Bachelor of Education degree. Fortunately for me, there is a shortage of French teachers in PEI. As soon as I get to Prince Edward, I will need to fill an application form and once I get the license from the government to teach as a substitute, I can start applying for jobs. I can also apply for ESL jobs which is kinda cool.

If you ever think of moving to Prince Edward, think: PEI ANC. Prince Edward Island Association for Newcomers. They are so very helpful.

Après trois ans de dur labeur à disserter, analyser, exposer, commenter (et quelques Shakespeare, Melville, Milton plus tard - pour n'en citer que quelques uns) j'ai le plaisir de vous annoncer que je suis désormais diplômée d'une licence de langues, littérature et civilisations étrangères, spécialité anglais. Je ne trouve pas les mots pour exprimer ma joie!

Qu'est-ce que je disais? Ah oui, il y a des jours où je me suis dit que je n'y arriverais pas, que j'en avais marre, blabla. Et regardez-moi! J'ai réussi! Je pourrais continuer et vous raconter quelques anecdotes mais vous ne comprendriez pas (enfin j'ai surtout la flemme...)

Maintenant oui. Je suis prête à partir. Je veux enseigner. Le français. Je sais. J'ai étudié l'anglais. Je ne peux être que suppléante parce-que je n'ai pas le diplôme "local". Heureusement pour moi, l'Ile du Prince Edouard manque "cruellement" de professeur de français.
Dès mon arrivée, je vais devoir remplir un document qui me permettra ensuite d'obtenir une licence/certificat m'autorisant à enseigner. Je peux également trouver du boulot en tant que professeur d'anglais seconde langue, ce qui est plutôt cool.
